It’s Almost Time for Santa! Need a Few Gift Ideas for Everyone on your List?

The holidays are a fun time of year, but they can also be pretty stressful. It’s a nice, festive time, and you get to spend valuable time away from work and with your family and friends. It’s also the time of year for exchanging gifts.

Which is great when you’re on the receiving end, but can be a little bit of a problem when you need to choose the perfect gift for someone else. There are, after all, only so many Christmases that you can get away with buying socks or smellies without someone getting really bored by the present. We know that technically it’s the thought that counts, but buying the same old generic gifts year in and year out doesn’t really scream, “I gave this a lot of thought,” does it? But don’t worry; we have you covered.

Check out this complete gift guide drawn up for you by Laurice Wardini. Laurice is one of the editors of Subscriptonly, and an old hand at choosing the perfect gift.

She’s divided the list into useful categories like “Gifts for Her,” “Gifts for Mom and Dad,” etc. We liked her suggestion to opt for a subscription box instead of just one single present. With these boxes, your loved one gets treated not just on one day of the year, but over and over again.

It’s a great way to choose a present that will stand out. Why? Think of it this way – what presents did you get last year during the holidays? What about the year before? The chances are that you don’t even remember, do you? We did a quick poll around the office, and not many people here could remember what they’d received.

So, why not choose something a little different? A subscription box that they get once a month or every second month could be just the ticket to make your gift stand out.
