According to The New York Post, the interest in divorce had increased by 34% in the United States by April 2020. Newer married couples had the highest rates of filing for divorce. Twenty percent of couples who had been married for five months or less were seeking divorce at the time compared to 11% of the same group in 2019, according to divorce records.
