Having an indoor wedding is much easier as compared to an outdoor wedding because you have the temperature under control, it’s neither too hot nor too cold. If you haven’t sent out your invitations give it another thought. In an outdoor wedding, you have to deal with a lot of things that are out of your control like temperature, lighting, insects among others. However, braving those obstacles can give you the perfect day. Here are a few tips to help you plan an amazing outdoor wedding.
Comfortable seating
If you want your wedding to be a success, you should consider the guests level of comfort. While you get ready, most of them will be at the venue before you, and they will have to sit for a long time too. In which case their seating should be comfortable if you’re going for some classy outdoor chairs remember to provide them with pillows or some cushions.
Hydration
You should have a fair amount of options to keep your guests hydrated if the temperature outside is high. You should try to keep the event in the evening hours in the summers as it is really hot during the daytime and while you have full access to a VIP treatment the guests do not. They are bound to get thirsty every now and then; water and drinks should be arranged for beforehand.
Tents
If you’re planning on an outdoor wedding, tents are a must. You should have some roof over your head to shield you from the sun. If you are concerned about the pictures, then an open top tent can be arranged for so that you can open it for some time and let it shield you from the light.
Insect repellent
In the summers insects are a major problem. You should be aware of the fact and arrange for insect repellent beforehand. This will portray you as a concerned host and will be extremely beneficial for the guest. Anyone could get in an exasperated mood if a mosquito starts irritating them throughout the function and that would ruin the whole aura of the event.
Blankets/wraps
If you are planning on having an outdoor wedding in the winters, you are aiming for a fairytale wedding. In doing so don’t forget that the guests are there to be a part of your happiness, and you should show them concern by placing light blankets or wraps for them to make sure that they don’t catch a cold.it will further give your wedding a cozy and intimate feeling. That will add to your fairytale wedding.
Photo booth
The most appealing thing about an outdoor wedding to most of the guests will be that photographs will be amazing. In today’s day and age, if it isn’t photographed, it isn’t real, so you better have a photo booth ready for them. It doesn’t have to be something too posh you can get creative with this aspect maybe hang a photo frame with ribbons from a tree or even use net or lace curtains to make a backdrop.
