Coronado Central Beach in Coronado, California
Coronado Central Beach is located in San Diego County, in the resort city of Coronado, between Ocean Boulevard and Marina Avenue. The 1.5-mile beach stretches from the Hotel del Coronado to the North Island Naval Air Station. Coronado Central Beach is popular for beachcombing, sunbathing, surfing, swimming, fishing, kite flying, and volleyball. It is the site of the iconic Hotel del Coronado, which was featured in the 1958 movie, “Some Like It Hot,” starring Marilyn Monroe.
Coast Guard Beach in Eastham, Massachusetts
Coast Guard Beach is located in the heart of Cape Cod and is part of the Cape Cod National Seashore, which includes 40 miles of shoreline. Coast Guard Beach features a boardwalk that runs along the right side of the beach and is home to the iconic Coast Guard Station. It is known for its beautiful sand dunes and amazing views and is popular for surfing and boogie boarding, due to its large waves.
Cannon Beach in Cannon Beach, Oregon
Cannon Beach is located in Clatsop County, just 90 minutes from Portland. This 4-mile stretch of sandy beach is situated along the Pacific Ocean and features an array of restaurants, cafes, specialty shops and art galleries. Cannon Beach is home to the famous landmark, Haystack Rock, which stands 235 feet above the shoreline, formed by wave erosion and features tide pools that are home to critters like crabs, starfish, sea slugs and sea anemone.
Kiawah Beachwalker Park in Kiawah Island, South Carolina
Kiawah Beachwalker Park is located in the western part of Kiawah Island in Charleston County. The beach features 11 miles of shoreline and is the only public access beach on Kiawah Island. Kiawah Beachwalker Park features oceanfront and Kiawah River views, along with everyday conveniences like shower facilities, picnic areas complete with grills and snack bar.

Our favourite is Navarre in Florida. We totally found this gem by accident many many years ago. It’s just down the road from Destin.
