Taking advantage of Black Friday deals is one of the best ways to get holiday shopping done fast and for less money. When Black Friday rolls around, it’s time to get your shopping muscles working and score those deals at all the stores you love. I have gotten some of the best deals of my life on this day, and it’s become one of my favorite times of the year to shop. Sure, it gets crazy in the stores, but dealing with crowds is a small price to pay when it comes to taking advantage of Black Friday deals.

Over the years, I’ve developed a system for Black Friday, and it’s been a big help for me. With Black Friday fast approaching, I want to give you some tips on how to score big so you can make the most of your Black Friday Experience.
Do Your Homework
The first thing you need to do is figure out what kinds of deals you can expect to find at certain stores. You need a game plan before you even head out the door. Remember, a ton of people are going to be clamoring for those deals, so knowing what you need and where to get it is key.
Do a Practice Run
Once you know what you need, head over to the store or stores where you’ll be shopping and locate everything you’ll need. I do a lot of shopping at Best Buy, so when Black Friday gets closer, I head back over to the store to make sure that everything I love is where it used to be. I also take my list, and I double-check the locations of all the items on it.
Get Started Early
While a store’s doors may open at 11 AM, it doesn’t mean that’s when people will be there. My rule of thumb is to get there at least an hour early. If you can get there even earlier, you’re ahead of the game. You can make a day of Black Friday by heading out super early, stopping for a nice breakfast with a shopping buddy, and then getting to the store an hour or two before opening.
Get Your Game Face On
Of course, you don’t want to be a jerk when you’re taking advantage of Black Friday deals, but you still need to move with a sense of purpose. Remember, you’re on a mission. Perusing the aisles is better left to days when everything ISN’T on sale. Take that list and get to your items as quickly as possible.
