Holiday Gift Guide Exclusive
My daughter loves to bake cupcakes. She bakes them for birthday parties, holidays, basically any time she gets the chance. 😉 The problem has always been – “how do we transport these and display them once we arrive?” We have hauled them in multiple cake pans and whatever we could fit them in! They always get messed up despite our efforts. For the display, we even purchased cardboard cupcake stands that end up falling apart and simply look cheap!
I am thrilled to say that Good Cook has a beautiful solution to this problem! The Sweet Creations Cupcake Carrier is a three tier plastic cupcake carrier that doubles as a stand. You can use it for cupcakes, cake pops, or both combined! It has a clear plastic lid that covers the carrier with a handle for easy transport. All of the shelves are level and very sturdy. You don’t have to worry about the cupcakes sliding around. They fit neatly in their snug little place. 😉
If you are thinking of delivering just a few cupcakes, the Sweet Creations Snow Flake Cupcake Boxes are perfect! Each container holds 4 cupcakes along with a cupcake tray to prevent them from moving around in the box. These will make stylish affordable gifts for teachers, co-workers, or church friends.
Don’t forget the cupcake papers! Good Cook has thought of it all! They have a pack of 50 Snow Flake Cupcake Papers that match the cupcake boxes!
How to:
For the cupcakes, I used a box recipe of Red Velvet Cake. GASP! Yes, I am a busy mom too. 😉 Some days you have to improvise! The bottom layer of icing is cream cheese piped with a star tip using Wilton disposable piping bags.
I began on the outer edge of the cupcake top and piped in a circular motion until arriving in the center. Then, I used a bottle of Betty Crocker Decorating Cake Icing (in red) using the same star tip, made a smaller circle on the top. The final touch is one Cake Mate Cupcake Perfect Pearl. These are so easy to make and they looked fabulous!
