Drink some fennel tea – Fennel is ideal for controlling bad breath and keeping your mouth fresh. Also, since fennel contains antimicrobial properties, it is great for getting rid of bacteria in your mouth. To make a fennel tea, steep two teaspoons of fennel seeds in some boiling water for 5 minutes.
Take an oral probiotic – Oral probiotics come in an array of products like dissolving tablets, gum, mints, toothpaste, and mouthwash. Probiotics are designed to decrease some of the candida yeast that resides on your tongue’s surface.
Chew some cloves – Cloves contain antibacterial properties so they work well for getting rid of bad breath and they help keep your breath fresh too. Just chew 3-4 pieces of clove thoroughly.
Lemon juice – Citrus products have a great deal of acidic content, which prevents bacteria from growing inside your mouth. Mix together 1 tablespoon of lemon juice in a glass of water and rinse out your mouth.
Brush your teeth with baking soda – Baking soda helps to balance out the acid levels in your mouth that can contribute to bad breath. It is also designed to ward off the oral bacteria in your mouth that contributes to bad breath. Just sprinkle a little baking soda onto your toothbrush and brush as you normally would.
