DIY Lemon Dish Liquid Recipe

DIY Lemon Dish

Making DIY Lemon Dish Washing Liquid is really a breeze! I was amazed at how easy it was and how well it cleans. 😉 If you have a lemon, a couple of drops of tea tree oil, bar soap, and water – you’re set! Luckily I had half of a lemon left over in my Citrus Keeper from Good Cook.  Did I mention that I love, love, love my Keepers?  They sure are handy to have around!

tea tree oil

You can make DIY Lemon Dish Liquid with or without tea tree oil.  It still works perfectly, either way.  I actually love tea tree oil but my husband doesn’t tolerate it very well.

NOTE:  Bar soap has a thickening agent in it. I noticed the next morning that the soap was trying to solidify. I took the top off and added just a little bit more water, replaced the cap, and shook it very well. It has been several days now, and it has retained its liquid form.
